What do you call a group of people that cross a nation's borders without permission

Typically in secret, sometimes in small groups and sometimes in large numbers
Who refuse to assimilate to the culture of the nation they have entered
Who cannot speak the native language of the nation they have entered
Who routinely waive the flag of the country they left
And
Who actively resist - typically with violence - any attempt by the native country to repatriate them back to the country they left (both themselves, and to resist the repatriation of others)?
There's a word for this that I just can't put my finger on.

They're both "legal definitions" and illegal aliens is fine.
You act like I said "undocumented" when I said "Illegal"
