Hire Sunbelt Billy so we can lock down our defensive staff. He was successful at your level, knows Louisiana, and you don’t have to worry about him leaving in a couple of years.

Message back and let me know.

If napier does well he will have another SEC or at least big12 job in 2 years. Maybe Baylor once Aranda gets canned

i've heard billy is a a crappy on field coach but very good at recruiting/talent eval. might be better suited as a gm.

Napier needs to give up playcalling duties. Kiffin is one of the best playcallers in football and even he doesn't call plays anymore. It's good that Napier can call plays if it's needed, but it'd probably beneficial for him to be able to focus more on the team as a whole instead of just the offense.

Yeah they should hire Napier, he’ll do well in that conference, will be around for a few years. Give them some longer term stability. If Baker were to do a great job he’d be gone to the next level in 2-3 years. I doubt another SEC would hire Napier as HC anytime soon.

No shot. He was abysmal at Florida with all the talent in the world. He’s going to have to be 4

They'll announce a hire or at least strong rumors of an offer this week. Baker is in the mix but definitely not a foregone conclusion.

This is unironically Tulane’s last big win.

I don’t know why they are talking so long.
Not only are they creating uncertainty for us, they are going through the signings period without a coach. Everyone has known for weeks that Summrall was leaving. They should have been prepared for this.

I don't see why not. Tulane's program has been completely revived by a couple of young up and comer's looking to showcase themselves for a P4 job.

They should keep doing that.

Napier would actually be a good move. Thats right up his alley and knows the landscape.

Tulane is in no hurry to hire a coach today.

The coach they hired today would not be as marketable as the coaches they might be able to hire.

For Tulane on NSD, a coach in the hand is not worth two in the bush.
