Coincidence: Insane rumors to kick Wilson out - Orgeron wants back in.

The rumors about Frank Wilson don't make any sense at all.
Orgeron wants back on the staff, and it seems like most of his supporters want him to head up recruiting.
And yet I thought Wilson was important to recruiting . . .

The whole rumor makes no sense.
Orgeron is an honourable man. Neither he nor his supporters would do anything to undermine someone.

It’s amazing that people really think this might be true. As if LSU would be keeping him around if any of that was remotely true. Not to mention Frank would destroy his own career by doing so. He’d never be trusted again. This is such a fabricated story made up by the panicked, catastrophe syndrome crowd who were the same ones stating that we should move on from Lane because he didn’t sign when they expected him to.

The so called “fence” around the state for recruits doesn’t exist anymore… parents wanting their kids as far away from Landry and Louisiana as possible… especially with everyone paying now…

Its truly amazing to me how deranged liberals are. I cant even talk sports with ones I know without hearing some BS about Landry and some sort of inherit resentment of LSU bc its "conservative "

But here’s the thing, it’s actually probable that it is remotely true. Frank is a great recruiter, and his position on staff should be expected to impact big time recruiting decisions.
It’s also well documented that recruits will use these situations as leverage, or an excuse to look elsewhere.
So I don’t doubt it is remotely true, I just recognize that something like this is possible without involving unilateral bad faith on Franks part.

LOL, I seem to remember Ed going behind Les Miles’s back and politicking for him to replace Les. Les’s daughter made some social media post about it at the time. There were definitely some bad feelings that Ed double crossed his boss.

I really think it just comes down to being as simple as some of our recruits had built rapport with coaches that won't be on staff next year. On top of that, the defensive staff is completely up in the air at this point.

So, it's ok for Kiffin to flip some Ole Miss recruits to LSU, but Wilson can't take guys with him if he goes somewhere else?
