The Rebel's best seasons have all been ruined by LSU

1959 - Record: 10-1
-Only loss was to LSU on Halloween night.
-Ole Miss claims a national title, but AP voters gave the real title to undefeated Syracuse.
1960 - Record: 10-0-1
-No losses, but tied LSU and blemished their record
-Ole Miss claims a national title, but AP voters gave the real title to 8-2 Minnesota
2003 - Record: 10-3
-Had a chance to go to their first SECCG, but lost tiebreaker to LSU after Eli Manning trips over his own lineman's foot on 4th down
2014 - Record: 9-4
-Came to Tiger Stadium undefeated and ranked #3 after beating Alabama. Upset 10-7 by LSU.
-Team falls apart after loss to LSU and loses 3 more games
2025 - Record: 11-1
-Locked in their first playoff appearance with Egg bowl victory, but 2 days later they lose their HC, OC, and other coaches to LSU.
Cheers to ruining many more seasons for Ole Miss

I’m not familiar with the sitch there, but it sounds like Ole Miss may have been screwed by the yankee press. 10-0-1 > 8-2.

Ole Miss has never and will never be a Championship Caliber program. They still have yet to make the SEC Championship.

They also claim 1962 and I believe fairly so. The Rebs were 10-0 but denied the national championship title. Several voters admitted they chose other teams because of the racial violence that had occurred on the Ole Miss campus.

The 2nd loss was their bowl game which was played after the voting. Minnesota got 1.5 more 1st place votes than Ole Miss so it looks like it was insanely close. The tie probably did cost them the title.
edit: Looks like Minnesota and Ole Miss both had 2 wins over ranked teams but Minnesota's were vs #1 & 12, vs #14 & 14 for Ole Miss. I'm sure the victory over the top ranked team helped them immensely.

2022 was similar to 2014
Came in 7-0 and ended the year 8-5

Yea there’s a trend of southern teams getting screwed by the polls from its inception until desegregation of sec football teams.
I hate OM just like the rest of us but they have some real complaints with 1960 and 1962.
Also, yes we’ve ruined quite a few of their historic seasons.
