i had alot of trouble keeping up the first 2 or 3 episodes but now that i'm 7 eps in, its settled down and i'm really enjoying it.
not at all what i was expecting; for some reason i thought this was like 'interstellar' where the scifi was over people being in ships for 100 years (mormon ship storyline notwithstanding) but the action is between the asteroid belt, mars & earth so far.
anyway, good show. if you're looking to start a new series i recommend (so far).

Best Sci Fi show made IMO and I can make a decent argument that it is up there as the best Sci Fi material ever done. It is really impressive how well they do with explaining why things are they way they are, succinctly, and not having you to just assume some futuristic or fantasy element is why something is possible. The grav boots are a great example. Instead of just making you assume they've figured out how to put gravity in every aspect of the show even if it wouldn't be practical for something to actually have gravity, you get a quick little second in the first episode that answers that question, and you never have to worry about it again.

It's a really great show. Books are even better.

Great show. I’ve rewatched a couple times and about due to do again.

Great show that unfortunately comes to an abrupt end. I can't remember the reason why but I believe they clipped out of the last book or 2?

I got way too hung up over this in the books. If I remember right the boots were magnetic. They would then say they were using mag boots to walk on a titanium or polymer hull.

The first few seasons were really good, but it kind of falls off a bit toward the end in my opinion.
SPOILERS
I thought they dragged out the stuff with Naomi and her kid to the max. It kind of became the Naomi show at the end.

First time I tried it, I wasn't sure what I was getting into. Tapped out because I wasn't up to speed with the source material, the world, etc.. Glad I gave it a second look.
Didn't end as well as it should, but I bought the Blue Ray. Amazing series.

Day 1 watcher, book reader, and Blu Ray owner. Revisit it often.
The show doesn't get to the end of the books, but they found a decent way to wrap it up.
Has everyone watched the "One Ship" vignettes that are included in the last season in the X-Ray features on Prime Video? A couple were pretty good.

I have gone back and forth on watching this forever it seems, and have yet to pull the trigger.
I have a ton of shite I am currently watching. But with the holidays coming up I may try to make time to check it out.
Is it streaming free anywhere?

It's on Amazon Prime.
Loved the show. There was one scene (Season 2 Episode 5) that was just visually stunning and awesome. It really cemented my love for the show from that point on.
