Just do it. Expected to enter the portal and yes would be a 1 year hired gun but would cover up some deficiencies on the Oline

I mean, our OL improves the moment we fire Brad Davis and that's a fact.

I’d much rather one of these guys

Cj Bailey nc state is at top of my wish list.

Then Brad Jackson Texas state
Or
Colton Joseph old dominion for cheap

I think all of them are going to be better, and cheaper

We have a 2-headed dragon to slay here.

OL coach has to fix the OL... players (technique) and blocking schemes/adjusts (which includes the QB)

And a QB who first and foremost has some semblance of accuracy and then can adjust both routes & protection IN CONCERT with one another. Try throwing into a blitz for once! Accurately!

ETA: our 5 & 3 man slide protections are so easy to defeat especially with max protect, taking a rec. away from the QB.

Honestly, our O line might be decent next year just from the experience they got this szn.

They are all highly ranked guys. Maybe just getting good coaching and developing these guys will make drastic changes in their performance.

I’d think he’d follow Eric Morris to Okie State. Sam Leavitt is leaving ASU and has played well against better competition. I’d be ecstatic with either.

why only 1 year? He has two years left. With NIL, there is no rush because of finances.
