Usually new coaches don't, but someone said he might be interested. I could see him wanting to coach the bowl game.

Kelly actually coached Cincinnati in their bowl game after he was hired. It’s rare but it has happened

Lane is crazy enough to do that, but odds are he will let Frank continue to have the reigns. I’m sure he plans to be very involved in bowl prep in some degree.

Honestly I hope not. Start working on 2026 from day one. Let Frank finish this.

I seriously doubt it. He may be involved in some capacity, but he probably just observes while he prepares for next years team and beyond.

Nah. BK didn’t.

This isn’t his team. Let Frank have one more moment with the guys then turn the page.

Agreed. And Frank's been a stand up guy through this chaos. Let the man have a bowl under his belt as interim.

Well, someone else should absolutely teach the team 12 new plays and call them at the appropriate times.

Normally, I would say no, but our offense is just so bad…

I’d love to see Lane coach the Bowl.

Define coach? Head coaching no. Involved, observing, giving input? Likely

He should use the bowl practices to install his offense for next year. So in the spring training they are building on that instead of install
