Anything loaded with any of the 110 grain bullets like Barnes TAC or Nosler Varmageddon. If you want to shoot subsonic the the Hornady Sub-X.

Loaned my 300 BO upper to a family member for his little girl to shoot. She’s taken a die and he had shot two more with the 110’s.

I’ve shot a pile of hogs with the 110 Varmageddon with good results.

I second the Hornady 190s.

Solid round and very quiet suppressed.

Target needs to be no further than 100 yards though.

Another plus one for the Hornaday 190 if going subsonic and good with ~100 yard or less shots. Daughter took down one Friday with it. Deer kicked when shot and walked 10 yards where it fell over before she could chamber a second round. If you knock the lungs out its quick and quiet.

Barnes 120gr will kill but not leave a large exit wound. Not a lot of blood but I always saw them fall within 50 yards.

The Winchester XP 150gr seemed to work better but I still had mixed results with exit wounds. I think the furthest one ran was 60-70 yards.

I have a two ARs, 16 inch and 8 inch, and two contender barrels, 16 and 6 inches.
The AR barrels are threaded as is the 16 inch contender.
I built the 16 inch AR when my kids were young. Shot 110 grain vmac red and green tipped bullets and 200 grain SMKs. All super accurate.
We always used shot placement like a bow, behind the front shoulder. Always had pass through, great blood trails and destroyed lungs. Didn’t get flop and drops, but that wasn’t the goal. They never went more than 20 or 30 yards and were easy to find.
I shot a big doe with the contender and 200 grain smks loaded subsonic. Deer was about 75 yards, Bang,,,,, whack! Same end result. I think the internal damage was the bullet tumbling.

I have since acquired a Silencerco 46m to suppress them.
The ARs a quiet. Especially after tuning w adjustable gas. But the 16 inch contender is super, super quiet. Mostly just a thunk.
Hornady 190 grain subx loaded to about 980 fps is superb performer both terminally and noise wise.
May or may not function in your AR due to shape.

Federal blue box 150 grain soft points. They tend to shoot well out of most barrels regardless of twist rate and kill deer just like the old reliable 30-30 Winchester. Put it through the ribs and they run about 40 yards and crash with good blood trails.

I’ll second the 110 Barnes Tac-tx black tips. Best supersonic hunting bullet for 300 blackout imo. Rolled a 322 lb hog at 80 yards and it almost passed through found the round on the far side just under the hide and perfect flower petal expansion.

Big fan of the 110 tac tx for .300 blk.

I shoot the 115 tac tx out of my Grendel and it’s also been fantastic.
