The melt when Kiffin leaves LSU for the NFL is going to be one for the ages.

You do know he tried and failed at the NFL? regardless, if he wins a natty and bolts, so be it. If he fails, he can certainly be encouraged to leave

Lane has already been in the NFL, if he wanted back in he would have left for it a long time ago...

If he leaves for the NFL because he’s successful here who cares. We’ve now stolen the head coach of Notre Dame and the head coach of an in conference rival having their best season in history right before a home playoff game. If nothing else LSU has proven they can go after and land highly coveted coaches.

You mean like Pete Carroll?

It should be clear to anyone paying attention that Lane Kiffin is about Lane Kiffin, period. And nothing would be better to complete the Lane Kiffin renaissance story than returning to the NFL like his mentor Pete Carroll and winning a Super Bowl. If Kiffin is at LSU more than five years I will be shocked. This is going to make a great mini-series.

If Kiffin does bolt LSU will really have no choice but to offer Donald Trump.

Based on the last two coaching hires, it looks like the might be able to get him.

nah, taking arch rivals coach just as they are coming to relevance and about to go into the playoffs is diabolical!

Did anyone else feel like that quote from Pete - I told your dad I’ll always take care of you - directed at a 50 yr old multi millionaire was nauseating?
