Alabama state politics in January 2027 could look like this:

Just think about this for a moment:

Governor: Tommy Tuberville (former Auburn head coach)
Lt. Governor: A.J. McCarron (former Alabama QB)
U.S. Senator: Paul Finebaum (former radio/TV sportscaster)

I love my native state with every fiber of my being.

Does Finebaum actually have a chance?

And we tell them to “stick to sports”

Crazy.

Finebaum would probably make a good senator.

McCarron is pretty meaningless. Half the state couldn't tell you who the LT Gov is right now.

Tubs is a disaster waiting to happen. He's more suited to being a Louisiana governor.

Bruce Pearl will beat out Finebaum if it comes down to it

Bruce isn’t running that’s the only reason Finebaum is considering it

Bruce isn't running. That decision is what made the power brokers decide to draft Finebaum.

Hell, in. Georgia we have Derek Dooley looking for a Senate seat. Hopefully he gets defeated in the primary.

He doesn't. I think he's bored since Saban retired. I don't think he'd be any worse than any other senator, though. Tubbs to Schumer, they're all laundering money somehow.

And AJ as a politician is a joke. Pearl wouldn't be horrible, but AJ doesn't have the sharpest mind.

I'd like to say that he has a better chance than McCarron, who has never voted in his life and sounds like his IQ is sub-90 when he speaks but...........

He was the QB at Alabama and those tarded fans only care that he has a natty ring on his finger and played for their god.

Our system was set up for ordinary people to serve. It wasn't meant for career politicians. This is how it is supposed to work.
