Stepped back and looked at the Kiffin smoke from afar

I am basing this off nothing but my own personal opinion.
I don’t believe Kiffin is coming here. There is too much smoke and this is too similar to Riley and many others in the past. I think at this point he’s going to UF or staying at OM. There was zero smoke regarding OkSt and Morris when that move happened and turnkey is handling the UF search.
There was no smoke about BK to LSU when that happened.
I don’t have faith in our current leadership between verge and homeboy Rousse that doesn’t know difference between permanent and interim.
I think we end up with egg on our face and Baker as our HC.

There was a ton of smoke to UF 2 weeks ago, so by the amount of smoke metric, Turnkey is not handling this one the same way.

It’s been rumored for weeks that Morris was the frontrunner at Okie Light. The only question was would a better job show interest in him

Part of my package to LK would have included language about OC and DC positions.
Who are his choices IF he comes. With his delayed departure from OM, I would have gotten permission to move forward and hire both. I would have offered them so they couldn't refuse. Point being, if he comes, major staff is in place. If he bails, worst case scenario is they've been recruiting their players needed, and LK doesnt come. Hire Ed O to a one year incentive deal with options going forward.
LSU was great when Ed motivated, and the best coordinators and assistants were given free reign.
Ed O would take it..both coordinators would be ecstatic, and LK would either join the party, or wilt in despair as he flames out at OM without his preferred coordinators
