More GOPers Trump is treating like crap are considering retirement to forfeit the House.

quote:

A few other GOP members messaged us over the weekend saying that they, too, are considering retiring in the middle of the term.

Here’s one particularly exercised senior House Republican:

“This entire White House team has treated ALL members like garbage. ALL. And Mike Johnson has let it happen because he wanted it to happen. That is the sentiment of nearly all — appropriators, authorizers, hawks, doves, rank and file. The arrogance of this White House team is off putting to members who are run roughshod and threatened. They don’t even allow little wins like announcing small grants or even responding from agencies. Not even the high profile, the regular rank and file random members are more upset than ever. Members know they are going into the minority after the midterms.

“More explosive early resignations are coming. It’s a tinder box. Morale has never been lower. Mike Johnson will be stripped of his gavel and they will lose the majority before this term is out.”

For treating them like shite, they surely don’t pass his agenda. It’s kind of odd and smells like a bull shite anonymous source.

Anonymous sources no doubt but MTG is staying just long enough to secure a lifetime of retirement pay while hunting up a tv gig. Not all of them are able to get that bonus kicker

Who is under the illusion that Trump cares?

He's not running again.

This is vintage mixed-bag Trump. He does bring positives to the table and some of them are positives that only he will bring.

But the same is true of his negatives.

Trump continues to break his opponents. Day-after-day.

Is there a running list of people that Trump's made quit?

Dems will have Congress in 2027-2028.

Trump is doing this almost unilaterally. The guy was given a golden ticket following his assassination attempt, and Charlies death and he's totally blown it.

All the "Career Politicians" hate Trump because he's not one of them and their crooked clubs.

Where else can a bunch of people with no training out perform every fund in the US consistently with no risk.

Tell me. What is the difference between a D that votes D and an R that votes D?

Good. Let them quit and be replaced by either MAGA or dims. No difference in RINOs votes and dims anyway when it counts.

the special elections required for House vacancies MIGHT be an advantage to Trump/Johnson.

So you think only one poster has incorrectly predicted Republican losses in congressional elections over the years??
