Who's supposedly the leading candidate? I think whoever is hired would be really smart to retain Petrino as OC. That's if he wants it. If he does, it should be a no brainer. The offense has put up big numbers/points most of the season.

There are four words coming out of Arkansas...

Woo. Pig. Sooie. Razorbacks.

What happened with Silverfield? It appeared a few weeks ago that he was the choice.

I read somewhere yesterday that there is mutual interest with Matt Campbell, but not sure since I don't follow Arky football.

Plenty of people care. If you watched them, you would know Arkansas was a DC away from being a threat in the SEC this season. They lost many close games. I think they may have led the country in close losses. The defense was just historically bad. Petrino has the offense on the right track.

One of their insiders said he declined the interview, because he is eyeing the Ole Miss job.

Hey, that's a nice, succinct thread you've put together there. It satiates my curiosity.

No one has a clue.

It’s been extremely tight lipped. Very similar to the Calipari hiring.

Petrino is not going to stick around and get demoted back to OC for a new head coach. He will get a head job somewhere, just maybe not SEC.

pretty risky to assume OM will be open. like us, he is at the mercy of LK's ever changing brain.

Saban, to be announced soon after Kiffin decision to steal his thunder. Saban still hasn't forgotten about the 2017 national championship game debacle.

But why? Dude was just OC for a 2-10 team. Why should anyone want that around?

And he would just be waiting in the weeds to become interim coach again.
