The refs missed it but it’s clear as day. There will be consequences. What a stupid thing to do

UPDATE: Quarterback and an Offensive Lineman have both been suspended for spitting

It should be an automatic 1 season suspension. You’d see that shite stop real quick

This shite needs to be locked down at every level. Seems like it's every week now. NCAA players are making solid money now. Time to start fining the shite out of them. Mandatory 2-3 game suspensions.

Spitting into the face of someone is beyond the pale and way worse than punching or fighting. It's basically a biohazard attack.

Wh are players doing this shite now. If this happens in public one of three things are happening
1- arrested for assault
2- getting your arse whooped
3- getting shot

Should have ripped his helmet off and beat the shite out of him with it.

I honestly believe I would become unhinged if somebody did that to me.

I wonder if we just know about more now, because of more and better cameras?

Ive been spit on twice, both people likely never spit on anyone again. My response was quick, decisive and painful.

I remember Dexter Manley spitting in Jim Dombrowski's face where Dombrow wanted to kill that POS. Manley later admitted he did it on purpose to draw a 15 yard penalty...

This is not a national story, why keep trying to make it one? If a player deliberately spits on another kick him out of the game, fine him, move on. End of story.

This is the more sports board, exactly where this story belongs. I’m not trying to make it anything, merely showing something fricked up that happened in a game. You say it’s not a national story yet it was covered by CBS Sports, ESPN, Yahoo Sports, and Newsweek. Pretty sure those are national outlets.

You sound like a lot of fun at parties
