If Lane comes to LSU he will almost surely bring Pete Golding with him.

I don’t think Golding is anything special and I’d take Blake Baker all day but it seems Golding and Lane are friends and it will be a package deal. How would everyone feel if Golding was our DC? Also Lane loves his RB and DB coaches which are the two coaches LSU can’t afford to lose in Frank and Raymond for recruiting. Moscona also said Lane is likely to bring his GM at Ole Miss so that likely pushes Austin Thomas out which is a mistake IMO.

The only way Golding leaves Oxford is of the next Ole Miss HC doesn't want to retain him. Golding doesn't want to leave Oxford, irregardless of who the coach ends up being.

Baker is going to be the head coach at Tulane next year no matter who the lsu coach is

They're not. Just what some people would like to happen. It isnt realistic to make a coach keep your coaches. Now if he chooses to do this, then great.

It appears they didn’t allow that with Kelly. With Lane, I suspect it’s written into the contract.

I hope you're right. I love Blake Baker and if we have an offense with a pulse then it allows him to take more chances getting after the QB than he did this year.
