My son Landon Rahaim has been missing since Tuesday. His last known location was 946 Dupard Street in Mandeville. If you or anyone that you know has any knowledge of his whereabouts, please let me know and/or contact the St Tammany Sheriff’s Department as a located missing person! I just read through the comments from the moms Facebook post.
One person commented that the kid told a few other kids that he was planning to run away.
The mom also commented that his E-Bike had a tracker, but at some point it was disabled. Supposedly deleted all of his social media accounts as well.

Doesn’t look like the kind of kid that would run away. Guess you never know though. Hope it isn’t some kind of online meetup predator thing.

Hope this kid didn’t get lured into a predator type meetup. Surely someone has a ring camera or something that can pickup this kid leaving his house and follow the trail.

We had a kid go missing earlier this week. Last time he was seen was getting out of an Uber at 1:30AM!! The picture the mom had the PD post showed a similar sweet looking kid, wet behind the ears, etc.
When the PD found him, the picture they took was far less flattering. He started out looking like a 12 year old sweet kid, and when picked up looked like a 15 year old delinquent that had clearly been smoking or huffing something.

This is horrible - I hope this kid comes to his senses and is able to make it home safely. His poor parents.

I have not read anything mentioning the mother. Has something happen her or could she be involved?
He does seem a little old for a parent abduction.
Someone else is involved unless self harm is a factor. Maybe not forced but groomed over the internet to leave on his own. He could also escaping issues with his father, but I still don’t see a 14 year taking off to travel the country on their own without anyone influencing this decision.

What's odd is the kid went missing on Tuesday and it took until Friday for it to make the news.
