If Dabo to Arkansas has legs, how is this better for both Dabo and/or Arkansas?

Why would Dabo leave Clemson for Arkansas? It would be harder to win there, and if he doesn’t adjust to NIL and the transfer portal, it will be even tougher.

If I’m ARK I’m pissed by hiring Dabo.
He can say he will play the NIL game at his next stop all he wants… but his heart isn’t bought into it.
He would be particular about his additions and that would keep ARK mediocre.
Dabo is past his time and relegated to a different era.

I think a change for both Clemson and Dabo would be good.

I saw a clip were Dabo was basically saying he isn't going to push players out - basically it is an until degree to we part.
Maybe Clemson is pushing him to modern roster management and he isn't going to do it

Because he feels like Clemson doesn't appreciate him and what he's done to help that program and he's most likely been told that if he doesn't get the program back heading in the right direct, they will need to make a change.
Sometimes a change of scenery is a good thing. The expectation at Arkansas is lower than Clemson and Arky doesn't really play in the NIL space seriously.
He's a good coach and may get Arky back to respectability. Plus it would put some juice into that program.

Clemson pre-Dabo was actually a worse program than Arkansas.
Pre-2009
Arkansas Win Pct 59.5%
Clemson Win Pct 59.0%
Pre Dabo both have one national title. Arkansas has actually gone to more bowls.
Dabo Swinney Clemson is propping the ACC up. Without Clemson and Miami, the ACC is basically a G6(7) conference.
I'd hate for him to go to Arkansas because it means they'd probably beat us a few more times.
I guess you could make the conference argument, but Arkansas historically played Texas, A&M, and SMU (pre death penalty) year in and year out in the SWC. It's not like they were playing Memphis, Mizzou, Ark St, Tulsa, every year.
