Was the first time you tried Raising Cane's the best day of your life?

It was for this guy! I moved to Boise, ID a few months ago and the first Raising Cane's in Idaho just opened in the Boise area. Hundreds of people started lining up the day before they even opened.
I don't know, it's pretty good and I used to get it from the original location back when I was an LSU student in the 90's....but is it life changing???
This does help to explain why Todd Graves is the richest restaurateur in the world though....

Hanson, who ordered a Caniac Combo of chicken fingers and sauce, fries and Texas Toast, said he’ll “probably … never go to another chicken place again.”
“This is officially the best day of my life,” he said.

It was a pretty good day. Junior in HS and drove to Br to meet my brother. Ate canes, first college party, got hammered…good times.

Meh, I tried it at the original location back when I was in law school around the corner. Probably went there 5-6 times. Or 6-7 as the kids say. Anyway, it wasn’t memorable enough to register “first time.”

It was pretty good, but that was like 2000-2001 and there's been alot of changes since then.

Compared the shitty food in Idaho, maybe

Guy in full Cane's gear tries Cane's for the "first" time. Sure sure sure.

Canes and CFA... People out West go nuts for that shite. In Colorado Springs, they had to bring out police for months when Canes opened. The line would back up traffic. Stopped at a CFA in Fort Collins. You could barely breathe in the place it was so packed.

Everybody loves to pretend like Cane’s is nothing special, but you know deep down that shite is fire

maybe it's the location, but I tried it once, over priced, small portions, and greasy, for crying out loud it's just chicken

He should've been at the original one on Chimes back in the late 90s. That $5 box was a deal.

Most of us know the size of canes tenders has shrunk and price has increased, off the hook is better, half the price for the tenders basket. Nothing bad on the menu ( Houma )

You have to use napkins to scrape 90% of the breading off and then chit the fries and toast to keep it relatively keto.
I love Canes but its too much work. In N Out is far better IMO.
