They could enter dynasty status with the new rules, they will always be positioned to have a chance to win a title. If they get one this year and 1 more in next 3-4, they will be included in discussions.

They can argue all they want since the number of highly ranked teams they will have beaten by season end will be very high - simply due to nature of the playoff
However, compare the teams and rosters of who they beat vs 2019 LSU and the answer is clear

No. If Oklahoma State won their final 2 games, that would put them at 3 wins for the season. Which is a far cry from best team ever.

They still have to make it through the playoffs. If they go undefeated all the way its quite the run even with their schedule.
