No Kiffin. Don't want

What he is doing to UM is disrespectful. His actions now say a lot about him. There is very little moral compass.

I think it's more about maturity than anything. He's extremely immature, just have to accept that if you're hiring him. The irony for LSU being you just fired someone who was the complete opposite personality.

Nature of the business, it's not a morality thing if he leaves for Us or someone else odds are ole Miss will push him out before he has the chance to be as you would say "disrespectful"

I'm really not all that comfortable taking a guy who is willing to abandon a playoff team. LSU can expect exactly the same loyalty thst Kiffin shows to Ole Miss.

If you marry the woman who cheated on her husband with you, you’re a damn fool.

What exactly is he doing wrong? Isn’t it us idiots on a message board ?

The big picture is nobody knows what is exactly going on with Kiffin. Everything is rumors and speculation. Its is very possible he signed extensiin and OM and Lane are teying to hurt LSU and Florida in recruiting and portal.

If any of you had the option to leverage three positions for every single term you desired, you would to.
Let’s be honest for one second

So, you think BK who didnt know his players names..played 400 rounds of golf in the last couple of years, left practice on the regular and was said to have some serious loyalty issues in his marriage ,was mature? I wouldd say mature people do none of those things.
I dont think Kiffin is immature, I would call him an opportunist.

This isn't the rec football league we played in as kids and your kids probably play in now.
This is BIG TIME COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!
LSU can handle any future shenanigans from a coach, and we can replace that coach if needed.
We need to concentrate on hiring the guy who is competent AND committed to us while he's here. IF we hire that dude, we'll all be happy with the results.

give it a rest and get off the Cross. Somebody else needs the wood., my god do you wanna choir boy for the next head coach? I want a proven winner like many other LSU fans
Brian Kelly and Les Miles both check those moral compasses that you’re talking about and right now there are things they are both were accused of and are accused of that. Probably shouldn’t be talked about on this board.

this exactly, but these guys are willing to overlook all of that because Kelly painted a good picture in public. Give me a break.

Ahh I get it. Moved on to coping now?
It’s not that you don’t want him. It’s that you can’t get him. #Year7

to be honest, yeah I like Lane Kiffin as a head coach, great if he makes it LSU, I will be thrilled, but if he doesn't,LSU moves on and grabs another coach big fricking deal. now Ole Miss on the other hand if Kiffin leaves it's gonna frick your program into a deep dark hole….. LSU and Ole Miss are definitely not the same. You guys are nothing more than a feeder program for larger schools.

This
People always get emotional with sports and act as if the players and coaches should operate outside the norms of other professions, simply because they're a fan of the team.
The reality is this is a job and a career for these people. Nobody here (or very few at least) would turn down opportunities to further one's career.
Posted on 11/20/25 at 6:53 am to cdelano2
It’s a job. Just like most people on this board have done, he would be taking what he believes is a better job for him and his family. When you leave one job for another, there is no perfect time to leave, because you always have to leave unfinished business and friends behind.
This is no different.

Far too many people make decisions based on emotions…. Here’s a guy who seems to be seriously considering his options and trying to make a decision that best suits his future and he gets crapped on.
Whether some of you realize it or not, this isn’t the same Kiffin that ditched Tennessee.
