Can the American people sue a politician for damages?

i.e.
POS Adam Schiff
How much money did he cost the American people
How much pain and suffering etc.
Any normal criminal can be charged criminally and have civil suits filled against them

If Bush isn't one of the first people that come to mind you aren't a serious person

They are immune... That should change.

If it were allowed they would just assign some pansy liberal judge to throw your case out.

I agree, qualified immunity should go away and we need "loser pays " tort reform. Loser pays would limit the fraudulent lawsuits.

Only recourse for misrepresentation is to primary them out of office. C'est tout.

Silliest idea I have ever heard. You would have 330 million Americans filing 330 lawsuits a year for even a one dollar increase in their taxes for example or people saying their cost of living increase for social security or veterans benefits "should be more so you are costing me money". Ridiculous..

I dont think so.
But tarring and feathering should be an option.

Schiff was elected by voters in Southern California. What duty does he owe to you, a voter outside his District?

Every law biding American taxpayer who has lived within their means, who has a demonstrable record of financial accountability and prudence should have the legal grounds to sue the federal government and the federal reserve for racking up $38 trillion of US debt. These rat bastards in DC have intentionally and recklessly destroyed the USD in their pursuit of wealth and power while robbing the American people.

It would just devolve into Republicans getting sued in blue areas and Democrats getting sued in red areas.

Federal Dollars, maybe?
So a citizen of California can cause damages from a citizen of another state
And that’s ok?
