Would be a home run hire for them. Coach Fitz got done dirty by his Alma Mater, I think he would crush it there

He would be a great hire, and would do well. But, even Saban couldn't crush it there, and the cards are stacked against them. I'd like to see someone prove me wrong though, a strong Spartan program would be a great thing to see.

Would be a decent hire for them. Starting to see mentions of Penn State interest also, but it's hard to believe Pedo State would hire a coach that was fired for any kind of scandal.

Saban was good there. He wasn't anywhere near the coach then that he became later on.

Michigan State has more than a few billionaires. In the world of NIL, if a coach were to get the big guys to open up their pocketbooks, they could compete.

Can I introduce them to Brian Kelly?

He upset #1 Ohio St in 98 and won 10 games in 99. I think they would have continued to have success had he stayed.

Plus Mark Dantonio did really well there. 3 B1G titles, made the 4 team playoff, won a Rose Bowl and another NY6 bowl, had six 10+ win seasons. Is that not considered crushing it? Point is, there is success to be had there. They aren't going to be Ohio St but they can be the 2nd or 3rd best team under the right coach

So Arkansas is no longer on his list? He would be interesting in the SEC.

Which is by definition, not crushing it. I don’t believe that Saban saw a path to dominance there, or he wouldn’t have left. A few coaches have had “good success” there, all the way back to Duffy Daughtery, but 2nd or 3rd best is not much of a goal.
