This is essentially what Saban did to us, only Lane hasn't won a title at Ole Miss. We all hated Saban for years but later on we still thanked him for reviving LSU and winning us a title before he left and give him his respect. Now with that Saban admitted leaving here for the NFL was a big mistake probably what he's battling internally right now. But we still now respect what Saban did and would have welcomed him back with open arms. Lane essentially shown them the potential they have there, they need to upgrade their facilities and up their NIL game if they want to be consistently serious contender.

When he eventually posts an excerpt from The Art of the Deal, you know this is at the finish line

It means he's just like all the insecure women you see in Facebook. Not football coach material

If he wants to be a legend, he'd come to LSU.

If he wants to be just another decent coach, he'll stay at Ole Miss or go to Florida.

Definitely seems to indicate he isn’t cut out for the high pressure stuff. He goes to LSU or Florida he’ll wash out and/or be in a loony bin within 3 years.

Is orgeron a legend? Is miles a legend? They won NC’s here and won’t be getting statues any time soon. LSU needs to move on. This is all to feed how gigantic ego and fill his pockets.

Are you saying Lane is an equivalent coach to O or Miles? And I loved me some Miles.

The point I'm making is he can come here and have the potential to win multiple titles. That'd be much more difficult at Ole Miss, or even Florida. Florida's recent titles came from 2 Hall of Fame coaches. O is an idiot and yet he won a title here.

What does it matter right now? It's not like you have to have a coach right this second. If they feel they can get Kiffin, then they should wait it out. They better have a backup plan though.

you might have a point about ole miss, but you know Florida and lsu have both won the same number of national titles in the past 30 years.
