The Kiffin family social media trolling has to be exhausting for Ole Miss

He's a great coach but honestly, I'm starting to wonder if we really want to deal with this every year. I want a great coach who can handle a massive NIL commitment by LSU on an annual basis and I want that coach to bring stability to our program. Last thing I want is for other schools to be linked to our coach every year and have to try to decipher the troll job Kiffin brings to social media.

Florida, take him if you want. If he comes to LSU, then great, but that won't be the end for LSU fans by any stretch of the imagination. I'd rather the LSU coaching and recruiting staff be able to use his questionability against him in recruiting than other schools use it against LSU.

He's still my first choice as of right now, but this morning I'm open to other coaches more than ever before. Either sign an extension at Ole Miss or put your fricking family on lockdown with their social media bullshite.

Ole Miss is a stepping stone job, LSU isn't. I don't think that would be something you'd have to worry about if he's hired.

I agree that LSU is a destination unlike Ole Miss, but I still don't think he wouldn't continue to test the waters if he were here.

I just hope there isn't a whiplash effect and we get Drink after, because I don't feel confident Lane is picking us. We need to start seriously vetting our other options and get someone who is hungry.

It would be the NFL next to worry about.

I think if we don't get Kiffin, our 2nd or 3rd choice would be hired and announced within a day or so.

So you don't want to hire a guy because years down the road if successful he could potentially want to jump to the NFL? What coach wouldn't? Frank?

At least you wouldn't have to worry about Bama ever trying to hire away your coach because Kiffin is persona non grata in Tuscaloosa due to burning every possible bridge with our boosters and administration.

What non of these schools seem to understand is that the Lane Kiffin experience isnt just what happens on the field, its what happens off the field and whether at USC, Tennessee or Bama as an OC the man is a massive circus of drama, narcissism and hidden scandals.

I personally think he would be a disaster in Baton Rouge not because he couldn't win on the field, but because of the wake of destruction he would leave in his personal life that yall would continually have to hide, defend and make excuses for.

LSU and Florida have had a coach leave them more recently than Ole Miss has

The last one to leave LSU went to the NFL.

The last one to leave Ole Miss went to a division rival.

Trev Alberts was always right.

with Auburn having an opening, he's missing a golden troll opportunity not making some sort of "Pine Box" type post somewhere

Completely understand this sentiment, but I see LSU as a ‘destination job’ for Kiffin - meaning if he does wind up taking the job here, I doubt he has his eyes elsewhere unless it’s the NFL way down the line

Spurrier went to NFL. Can't think of last coach that voluntarily left to take a job at another college.
