$0. Started cutting my own hair during the several weeks shops were closed during Covid and got pretty decent at it. Short on top faded down to very short on the sides. I do it about once a week. Free, never have to leave my house, and always have the fresh cut feeling. May not ever go back.

Including beard trim it’s $30 with a tip.

$0. I started cutting my own hair early this year.
Before then, I was paying my barber $45. He pushed his price to $50 after the new year. That was my breaking point.
The benefit is I can have a nice haircut every 2 weeks. From going to the barber, I was only getting a cut about once a month. The con is I've messed up a number of times. I've given myself a bald spot twice. fricked up my hairlines, etc.
I probably figure I'll go to the barber chair still for important events. Ie weddings, professional pictures, etc.

$20 but normally just trim it myself with clippers.

For me, adult male with full head of hair, since I started wanting some length, I started going to a salon that charges $50, and I tip $10.
I justify this as I was spending $30 every 3 weeks to keep my taper low bald fade fresh at Just4Him, vs now I started wanting some length so I only go to a salon every 5-6 weeks.
I will say there’s a big difference in these “women’s” salons and while more expensive, layering my hair has been a game changer. When I first started growing it out, the woman had it all one length on top and it looked terrible. Get what you pay for, as with everything else.

$37.50 but she gets all the stubble off the shaft and puts conditioner on my ball sack so it doesn’t itch.

I have stood over the tub with a pair of clippers for about 30 years now. I get the wife to clean up the neck.

I go to Great Clips. $18 plus a $10 tip.

With the cost of doing business, most hair cut places are expensive now.
Just can’t make the business work on $25-$30 haircuts.
I get it and understand why they have to raise the prices

Give me a fricking break. Takes 10 to 15 minutes to do my son.
The trick is all these punk wannabes try and just use clippers. That's because they suck with the scissors.
Be warned

$26 a week, plus a $20 a week tip. This bald fade ain't going to maintain itself. I feel like a hippie around the fourth day after a cut.
