It’s a message board and a lost season, so why not.

Had Bryce stuck with his commitment here:

Does the season go the same - he rides the bench behind Nuss and plays sparingly just like MVB? 5-4 record?

They bench Nuss sooner and he makes a difference. Different play calling, he makes more dynamic plays and ultimately, a better record and outlook?

He plays more but gets frustrated with Sloan’s play calling, (all horizontal throws). Same record and is ready to transfer out?

If he comes, nuss leaves and we don’t get the secondary

If Bryce was here nuss would've gone pro. Also we probably don't get Haulcy and a few others

I think there still would've been a commitment to Nuss because he just came off a 4000 yd season and was a top Heisman candidate and projected 1st rounder. No way you sit him for a freshman.
Now as the year went on, he would've gotten some playing time if he showed out in practices. The play calling was such because of the bad OL. There just wasn't enough creativity to help the OL or run game on the playsheet.

I think BK would've really started integrating BU much earlier in the season.

Hypothetical, underwood is starting after the Vandy game or halftime of the A&M game.

Losing him is why we got the amount of players in the portal we did. And also a big reason Nuss was given a really good $ deal because they had already secured the $ for Bryce.

If Bryce was here we likely would have gone into the season with Coaches calling it a rebuild and Bryce would be learning on the job for the next few seasons. Kelly would still be here.

That decommitment started a chain of events no one expected.

Wouldn't matter. He'd still be playing behind this OL. The worst group in the history of this program. They couldn't block me and my three kids.

Moot because we would've moved on from Nuss if Underwood was here. We paid a fortune to keep Nuss here this season to go all-in.

Regardless of record, underwood would’ve bought Bk more time because people would be excited/interested in the future instead of checking out mid season.

Would probably be better for the future tbh. We'd know who our QB would be going forward. This season would have gone a game or two worse though

I think we would still have had a frustrating season with him maybe more so with less pieces on defense but we would have had hope for the future. That would have keep Kelly around for another season IMO.

That hasent worked out that great! Delane and Hausey have been good though. Still would have preferred getting Underwood!

This

And given what we now know about BK behind the scenes, probably for the better he did flip

Nuss is having a slightly better year than Bryce passing.
Passing yards: Nuss 1,927; Bryce 1,671
TD:INT ratio: Nuss 12:5; Bryce 7:3
Nearly identical Passer Rating: Nuss 133.8; Bryce 132.5

But Bryce is having a significantly better year than Nuss carrying the ball:
Nuss -2.0 ypc (1 TD); Bryce 5.3 ypc (4 TDs)

If Nuss left because of Underwood, Nuss's significant NIL ($3.4 million) would have paid for the additional DBs acquired by LSU.

I'd say that LSU would be having a better year with Underwood rather than Nussmeier.

Bryce has struggled his last two games, completing 53% of his passes for 230 yards, 0TDs and 1 INT. I doubt it would made any difference this year. I expect Bryce to take a big jump next year, but he probably would have bounced if Kelly and Sloan still got fired.

He's under 60% with 5TD passes against P4 schools.

He is a true freshman...hasn't been that impressive yet but you would expect by year 3 he would be pretty solid
