He isn’t hurt. His draft stock is.

He is sitting out to stop the slide.

Holy shite, someone alluded to this right after the Bama game. They said injury will be brought up and he's going to opt out and cite recovering as the excuse. Someone bump that thread if you can find it.

How in the heck does a QB get hurt on a Thursday practice before a Saturday game.

The D is not sacking him. He sure ain't running.

This smells fishy to me.

Whaaaaat? frick that.

He’s been playin crappy all year long because he’s playing hurt.

But now tthat he coach is fired, and games don’t mean as much …..

Nah. If he doesn’t play out the season, he sucks.

He needs to stick it out, be the starter, play the rest of the games. For better or worse.

Honestly, if MVB is going to burn his redshirt. Staff owes it to him to play out the remainder of the season.

This is their plan to start Van Buren without benching Nuss.

I think it is more that they are afraid he is "booed" if he starts.

Just my opinion.

But I did see something like this coming after he was benched last week.

It does set him up to come in late in the game Saturday and be a hero, though.

This feels like a soft opt out

Just start MVB. Nuss wasn’t playing any better last week and he was supposedly healthy. Why keep playing someone with injuries when they haven’t performed well. Makes no sense.

Well, I think that is totally different than "nicked". Still, I knew he wasn't going to start this game as soon as he was benched last week. I still expect him to play some though.

This injury has been handled about as well as the "firing" of Kelly and Woodward.

He’s done. No QB is getting hurt on a Thursday before a Saturday game. All part of the plan
