Im starting to share the same sentiment on some of these points. I was looking at our recruiting class a few mins ago. I knew we had a strong class even only having 14 guys. What I didn't know is how little we took compared to everyone else. It took me over 50 classes to find a class with less than 14

Oh I definitely would be for it as well but it's hard to envision not losing one of the 2 if he comes here. I understand your chambliss point. I can say some part of me want things to look a certain way if we win vs what lane's approach to building the roster may look like. For instance I'd rather win with the tuas Trevors or burrows at QB vs the more recent teams with guys like stetson and will Howard. I'll soften my stance eventually

soon as lane got hired this fanbase decided it was over for him in hopes we get lacy. id rather our 2 guys and a bruiser in the portal. lacy is a great player but tbh i dont want him or chambliss. chambliss could come here and have a career year and still wont be drafted earlier than the 4th rd maybe. Go get a guy with some rockstar upside

been saying this myself. lacy is good but id rather we go with our 2 guys. if we get another back it should be a bruiser anyway not another speed guy barely over 200

If he was smart he'd go the route of guys like dante moore. Nothin beats learning on the job but the other route is proving to be better development wise. Moore at UCLA was almost going to be a washout from underdevelopment. Went sat a year in a better situation now he can be 1st on the board 26 or 27

I just can't get on the train of throwing our rbs away at the prospect of getting lacy. I try not to be guilty of this myself from time to time but fans always cry about loyalty from players and were bitchin about committed guys not signing immediately but ready to throw guys like caden away in hopes lacy comes here. I been seeing the lacy talk for a few days and fans ready to do like Andy did woody when he got buzz light year.

Lagway is a QB than this guy. Yes we made him see ghosts his first time here but as a whole sans 2 games out defense did this to just about every offense. Sellars has never been able to throw consistently but he can pull off a big play here or there and break some tackles. I don't really get the 1st rd draft love or love cfb fans have for him. I just don't think dude can throw man

I've said before we had some miss evals on this offense but the foundation and scheme was so terrible it made even decent players look terrible. You couple that with bad position coaching and it's bad to worse. Some of these guys didn't get here and forget how to play i.e. a nic Anderson.

Who do you want realistically? Chambliss? Lacy? I know I'm in the minority but idc to want any of their players regardless of their teams record. I like lacy but not if it costs harlem or caden

I wouldn't say money. He was hinting at a staff member flexing his connection to the kid against the school. His question to the audience was who recruits the n.o. area. If thats not implying it's frank idk what is bro. Sucks but with all this fertile recruiting grounds and being the only p4 school etc. guess shite can't always be sweet

Maybe I'm just not as studied on Golding but he's never scared me as DC having to play against him. If kiffin is the guy I don't want Golding. That same lagway thought he was seeing 22 guys on d against us
