Is 115th in the country. The Razorbacks are 1st. Think coaching and playcalling have anything to do with that? I sure would like to see Bobby Petrino come to LSU as an OC for whoever we hire as the next HBC.

Our offense staff consists of:
Frank Wilson
Alex Atkins
Brad Davis
Cortez Hankton

Not to be trifled with.

frick no on Bobby P. You think anyone would hire him as an OC? The reason for the RZ issues, is play calling and execution both suck.

Inside the 5, Green should have the ball thrown to him when he is one on one in a jump ball situation. If he is double covered, someone else is open. Nuss on designs run this year. Run up the middle never works.

Bobby Petrino has been and is one of the best play-callers in college football. Surely you watch other games (besides LSU) on occasion?

Looks like an NBA team in the early 2000s before the Europeans flooded the league.

LSU RZ play calls, starting at 8 yd line…False Start, run up the Gut 3yd loss, TO, another false start, incomplete Pass and then a FG if lucky from 45yds!

Yes I watch many other games. He is good at offensive play calling. He is also good at sabotage. He does not want to be an OC. When he was retired by Arkansas, everyone knew he was going to be named HC one day and Pittman will be fired.

I do not think it would be a good fit to have someone like that. He was also at A&M when Fisher got fired. He does not work well when he is not the HC.

Changing nothing but trading out Nuss for Taylen Green would've jumped our redzone numbers up 50-60 spots.

People don't realize it's also execution.

Bobby petrino knows exactly how he wants it to look out on the practice field. He is an alpha. Joe Sloan isn't an alpha imo.

I haven’t watched a Petrino-called game in some time, but I’d be shocked if it didn’t have a little bootleg to the TE in short yardage/ goal line.

That fricker always got us with those.

Please just lob 3 balls up to #14 every time we reach the red zone. It’s obvious we should do that but coaches don’t see it. I guess that’s why I am not a coach and I just sit and shake my fist at the TV instead.

Kind of strange they are 2-7 with the best red zone offense. Obviously their defense has been awful.

It doesn't hurt, but Sam Pittman being a fantastic O-line coach and developer probably has something, maybe as much, to do with it.

Bad defense and lots of turnovers. Our only hope is if Taylen Green goes full Lagway Saturday and throws the ball up willy nilly.

I do not expect lsu to win this Saturday. This offense is so bad. If tigers pull it out, it’ll be like the Florida game.
