I have woken myself up to
Yelling
Biting my tongue or cheek, this might just be muscle spasms but it happens a lot.
reoccurring
Can't find my car in a parking lot (I have this one a lot)
When faced life threatening danger I can't throw a punch, this is not how I would be in real life.
I dream off the wall shite all the time, I mean crap you couldn't imagine and I can't explain, I used to talk to my mom about them but after a day or so I can't remember them.

I had a dream of me and my 3rd or 4th counsin, engaging in sexual relations.
Also had people of the dead speak to me.
I got no clue whats rolling around in there.
I do believe there is some universal consciousness frequency out there.

Running around the house and can’t find a clock or watch or phone to tell me what time it is.
For some reason knowing the time is very important in this dream.

I once dreamed that I had choked to death eating a giant marshmallow.
When I woke up my pillow was missing...

As a kid I has a reoccurring dream where I was always at my grandmother's house where I would be walking down the sidewalk on a bright sunny day. I'd walk to the end of the sidewalk and bend down to pick a flower for my grandmother. As I bent down the sun would be blocked by this large shadow that enveloped me. I'd always pause for a second just after I picked the flower then slowly stand up. I'd always look up to see this horrendous looking metal/robot looking monster. I'd always wake up as soon as my gaze fell on it.
I vividly remember it to this day.

We dream about what either happens or what we fantasize about.

When you dream, your consciousness travels to what's referred to as the astral plane.
It's a different plane of existence.
Think of it like this...when you fall asleep, your consciousness leaves your body but is still connected to it at the naval by a golden string as it travels thru the astral plane. Your consciousness can fly and walk thru walls there.
When you wake up, your consciousness is pulled back into your physical body by that golden string.
When you pass away, your consciousness leaves the body, but that golden string is cut.
Sleep tight!

On a handful of occasions have I had a dream where my teeth were falling out as I was dreaming, which is a common dream many people have associated with stress/anxiety.

Every now and then I get eidetic dreams that are extremely realistic. Fortunately, I enjoy them and kind of write the script.

That's pretty common, well except for the biting yourself.

Well we know you're not from Bama, or it would have been your sister for 1st cousin.

Not a reoccurring dream but a reoccurring theme. Snakes. I have dreams with snakes in them. I hate snakes.

A few nights ago I dreamed that I got into a fist fight with Willie Mays because he didn't like the way I was clipping my toenails.
That old dude was strong.

I used to have two different reoccurring dreams.
One of them, I would dream that one of my grandfathers was with me, talking to me, and I would realize in the dream that he had passed away.
The other, I would be in the back seat of a car or in the bed of a truck with no one else in the vehicle and it was driving by itself.

I developed lucid dreaming as a kid due to nightmares. I would wake up screaming and still seeing things from my dream even with my eyes open. I had to teach myself to recognize that I was dreaming. I couldn't control what was happening, but I could force myself to wake up before things got rough. I still do this at 47.
