.... And tell the country exactly what and why the Democrats are doing here instead of letting the MSM run with the crazy narrative that somehow this is his fault.
He also needs to let everybody know that the Democrats who are perpetuating this mess are still getting paid their salary while everybody else is suffering.
I bet the minute he scheduled this the Democrats would cave.

Because he can't. I assume you mean an address to the nation though, from his oval office, and not the joint address before both chambers.

I think he needs to address the nation and lay out the cards with the budget and deficit.

I’d have Vance give the speech. Trump sucks at giving speeches. He goes off topic, rambles, and treats every one like a campaign speech. Vance expresses himself much better and the TDS isn’t near as bad when he speaks so moderates and democrats might actually pay attention.

Blondi, better yet, Tulsi, should go to a podium and announce complete raids and dismantling of CAIR, all islamic front shell companies, and the DSA. The DSA is outright now.

The MSM is giving the Democrats a win on this and making it seem like they are fighting against cuts in the CR not holding the government hostage for separate policy issues.
Only option is to suspend the filibuster for clean CRs and hammer that Republicans want the government open while negotiation on the budget continues. The filibuster is already suspended for reconciliation.
It will take Trump putting pressure on hold outs.

I agree - it is time to call a national emergency worthy of the nation's full understanding of ALL the information relative to it.
Call for a debate between the POTUS and the DEM Senate Leader - each given 30 minutes to state their case - and any non-factual utterance results in abandonment of their position.
Have 3 parliamentarians on the panel = only to provide authority for veracity and fulsome discussion of the differences between the positions.
Each side gets 5 minutes to answer or respond to any question presented by one of the 3 monitors.
Trump and Schumer are the only ones to speak for their positions.

I want them to do a Turning Point USA show and each speaker talks on great detail with video proof, evidence, debunk rumors, etc and make it a spectacle exposing all of these people

I think he's the only President that's had fewer oval office speeches. He only likes it when the press is around so he can berate them.
If this were Reagan he would've had this shutdown deal wrapped up by now. Reagan would give the most eloquent speech and make it sting the democrats, and they would still respect him!!

Reagan had Tip O'Neal to banter back and forth with, but at the end of the day, there was respect for each by the other.

Eventually it will come to that point. Eventually they will have to get before cameras and explain to everyone in plain frickin English what many of us have known all along. That the establishment was firmly entrenched and have been selling this country out for decades. And that once he took office they had to do everything within their power to remove him. That the media was involved and they, along with all deep state traitors are being rounded up and thrown in prison. And this will have to come with evidence of their crimes, past and present.
