Giving up 4.5 yds/carry, Bama's run D is a weakness that can be exploited. Wilson has been adamant that running the ball will be priority #1 for LSU.

Over the last two games, Berry has averaged 5.7 yds/carry. If Wilson practices what he preaches and feeds Berry, kid could really go off and give LSU a fighter's chance against the Gumps.

Ole Miss was giving up rush yards left and right and we made their front 7 look like the iron curtain

We've not been able to run the football on worse. We'll see if it was scheme and coaching.

We're about to see how much of the problem lies with Sloan.

Their run game is a weakness as well. Bama struggles to run the football.

They haven't played LSU yet. We have a bad HS offensive line.

They will probably hold us to less than 75 yards rushing for the game

Lsu ran for 135 yds against SLU in Tiger Stadium.
End of story.

Both our main running backs have run for 4.9 yds per carry this season. Thats not bad.

Against a&m, they ran for 95 yards on 14 carries.

Against vandy they ran for 114 yards on 18 carries.

The problem recently hasnt been the run game, its been our defense playing like shite forcing us to go away from it, and lsu panicing when falling behind by 7-10 and not sticking with it

Half of those yards were on two carries.

Half of those yards were on two carries. Durham had a 51 yarder. His other 6 carries totaled 8 yards.

The run game is still a problem. A few big runs that skew the numbers do not equate to a strong run game.

I thought it was criminal not to balance the offense in the 2nd half against us. BK made it easy... a 1 dimensional passing game.

Berry picked up nice yards in the 1st half and only had a short handful of carries in the 2nd half.

So, if that stat is true of Bama's rush defense, I would give them a heavy dose of the rush game and limit Bama possessions.

Well, that means they will expect us to run on them. Hence we need to focus more on throwing the ball.

Yea, but did you see the last run of the game. That tells you everything you need to know.
