Verge is both not the AD and the AD at the same time and until we observe Verge we will not know.
Being a man in academia, I'm sure he's giving us a lesson in Quantum Mechanics and superposition. Brilliant.

Quantum mechanics amounts to nothing more than a theoretical construct much like relativity. They are both based on unprovable assumptions, but OK.
