1.If he wants to be a big fish in a little pond with job security Ole Miss is the choice..likely no NC

2. If he wants a shot at a NC and better talent than OM...Florida is an option

3. If he wants to be a Legacy coach and achieve at the level Saban did there is only one choice ..LSU

Hopefully, he chooses one or two. Don’t need that clown anywhere near Baton Rouge.

At UF he’d follow legacy coaches Spurrier and Meyer just like LSU. He’s always had interest in LSU. It just depends on if he thinks this is the right timing

WHAT??

What has kiffin done to make you think he can sustain a level close to Saban?

Frankly, I am not certain anyone can reach that level of consistently competing for championships in this era of College football.

He has turned around a terrible Ole Miss program. 3 10-win seasons already with less money than LSU and less talent.

He would do so much more with LSU, and he's getting older and slowly giving up some of the playcalling.

Of course it has not been at Saban levels, but Ohio State sure is doing a great job now. They lost so many players and coaches after last year's national championship, and here they are again as the one to beat.

I don't disagree with Ohio State being a top tier program at the moment.

I don't think Kiffin will ever sustain that level of success.

I think he is a good coach, and if he happens across a generational type QB, he could catch fire and win a Natty... But so did Jimbo...

They bought one of the most talented teams in CFB last year and lost 3 games, 1 of those to a very talent-depleted LSU defense.

Eta: I’m not sold on the Kiffin train, however, I think if you’re going to push for him, use the accomplishments up to this point THIS year to highlight how he’s gotten the troops to buy in.

Dude, you had 2 other coaches that won a national championship for LSU, but it's still all about Saban.

The Saban Era was over 20 years ago, yet fans are still obsessively expecting every coach to be Saban 2.0.

LSU is that girlfriend that got dumped by her first love, and every other boyfriend will never be good enough.

Man, I'd like to see him here. He's a very talented coach who is innovative and gets the most out of his talent. He also has a great sense of humor and is constantly trolling other coaches... Love it...

Brady is the best choice by far. Kiffin would be good.

Lots of things stand out with Kiffin

* Raiders: 5-15
* Tenn: 7-6 (.500 in the SEC)
* USC: 28-15 (17-12 in conf) fired in Sept
* Florida Atl: 26-13 (18-6 in conf) Beat no ranked teams. Was beaten by at least 3 scores when playing ranked teams
* Ole Miss: 52-19 (30-17 in the SEC .638) Has lost 10 games to unranked opponents (Compared to BK who has lost 4)

Also, Kiffin led Ole Miss to become the first NCAA football team 100% vaccinated against COVID-19

Their team talent ranking was 20th in the country last year, just below Missouri and just above South Carolina. That’s the highest team talent ranking Lane has had at Ole Miss.

They had the #1 portal class last year but that still only raised their overall team talent ranking to 20th.

For comparison, LSU’s team talent ranking last year was 8th and is 6th this year.
