So thats not going to happen. Lets get that out the way. If he was interested. I'd drive out there and pick him up right now and bring him back. I think thats run its course ok?"

How delusional to you have to be to think that a retired 74 year old would come back to coach? The desperation of LSU fans is off the charts.
Everyone warned you guys that Kelly was a washed up car salesman of a coach who didn’t give two shits about winning a national championship. And yet you stuck it in everyone’s faces and bragged about “but muh BK’s win record is the highest out of all coaches!”

Anyone with a functioning brain should have known this.
Saban’s legacy and his fortune are squarely safe and settled. He has no reason to get back into the grind at all. Not for any amount of money LSU or any other school would offer.

Of course he's not coming back but that didn't mean that Verge had to go and kill the fun of the coaching changes board so quickly. The Saban stuff was just starting to heat up and the threads were about to get interesting.
