My boss owns a helicopter and obviously has some higher connections.
He flew into Birmingham today for a round of golf with some prominent SEC official and a few big dawg attorneys.
Saban has definitely been offered upwards of 80 mil for 4 years with the promise that his nil involvement will be minimum.
That’s all he knew and couldn’t speak on whether Saban would entertain the offer.

Wouldn’t it be something if he did.

My dogs, veterinarian, has a cousin from mobile, that apparently knew someone who retired in Baton Rouge, that had an affair with someone on the BOS.

They were telling me Saban smoke is all BS. It’s actually going to be Jon Tenuta.

All I will say is this-

I don't think Saban today is everything everyone here makes him out to be. 20, 25 years ago he had a burning fire in him and was a tireless worker. Now, he's over 70 and I suspect lacks the energy he once had.

He was at LSU recently. People saw him. Way too much smoke. I believe he is considering it, he has a few weeks to make a decision. We won’t wait for Kiffin in January

My concern as well. We may be getting the Belichick version of Saban now.

I don’t think Saban has it in him to be mediocre.

I mean he is still on gameday every saturday. He obviously loves the sport a lot still

2 years ago, he had Bama in the playoffs. What you talking about? Ole Bill showed he was washed up while he was still coaching the pats. We watched it live. Not the same.

It’s become clearer that Brady was the main person responsible for that Patriots run.

It’s hilarious that everyone’s sources are saying different amounts and years that he has been offered
