The ESPN/Fox bundle is pretty solid if all you watch live is sports

With all the YouTube TV drama, figured I'd toss this out there for those interested. You can get the ESPN/Fox app bundle for $40/month, which gives you all the ABC games, all the ESPN channels/games, the ESPN+ content, broadcast Fox, all the Fox sports channels, and all the Fox news channels (if you're interested in that).
LINK
If you have Paramount+ for CBS stuff, you're basically covered for all of college/NFL this season.
Of course, if you watch more than sports on live TV this doesn't help you at all, but I've enjoyed it and haven't run into any problems so far.

Just wait about 3-4 months and it goes up to $50 a month. Then in another 3-4 months it will go up to $60 a month.

We've lost our ever-loving minds as society with streaming content. I'm about to just ditch it all and take my chances with the pirates. I don't want to have to go from a digital antenna, to one service, to another service and to another service to watch basic shite. This is all about to change the way I consume television.
I will not pay $40 a month just for ESPN/Fox sports for the few games I watch throughout the season. And I'd think ESPN/Fox understand that while them may see an influx of subscribers for the next few months, they will drop off the table after January.

I think 5-6 years ago, I had actual cable TV with this content, plus a lot more for $50/month. These a la carte streaming services have absolutely lost their minds.

You should look back and see how much cable has gone up. Last I looked, it was at least $20 cheaper to have YTTV than a similar cable plan in my area. And that price is before all of the add-ons cable has, or used to have, # of boxes, DVR, HD...

I don’t think I can even get traditional cable TV in my area any more. It’s all some form of streaming shite. And you’re right, that shite’s overpriced, too!

You mean you can get ESPN/Fox/Disney+/Hulu for $40/month right now.
I do'nt want D+ or Hulu.
That $40/month will be $60/month in 6 months.
frick Disney
I'll go IPTV before i get a subscription to ESPN/Disney+

I just gave up having DVR capabilities and went IPTV. I have access to everything for $10/month.

Probably. But that's also what YTTV and Hulu TV keep doing as well. And since I don't watch Discovery or CNN or AMC, there's no reason to pay $100+/month soon for an entire cable-esque package.

Last time we moved, we never set up a tv in our new house.
I cannot tell you how much better life is without a TV. It is an addiction like any other, and you can’t imagine going back once your shake it.
Listening to sports on the radio while you work around the house is great. Go out if you are so inclined for a major event.
We have young kids and they are socially ostracized and hate their parents, but that is a small price to pay.

I prefer the crazy websites where you can watch everything for free.

I pay $20/month for dark media, and get every tv channel plus nfl sunday ticket, all ppv events. such as WWE, AEW, and UFC.

My old cable bill was around $175.00 per month.
By the time I cobble all the Apps and platforms together to watch what I was watching before, it will soon be around $175.00 per month.
It is portable so I do save when I travel at another residence.
And I can watch it anytime & anywhere.
And I can share some of it with my kids.

We cut cable tv in 2012 and went to fiber internet a couple years ago. I just checked with my cable provider, Sparklight, and you have to use their internet service in order to have their tv service. That's a deal breaker for me.

Year 2 of doing just that and guess what, I have never missed a game that I wanted to watch yet. And in fact all games are available and any channel I want at any time. $0 a month. There is no DVR is the only downside, but if you are watching on DVR, YouTube will have it anyway.
