This immediately has made it to several of my Mount Rushmores:

- Top-tier Nic Cage terrible acting that is too fun to turn off

- Movies that are unintentionally funny

- worst makeup and wardrobe

- worst dialogue that doesn’t disappoint

- can’t believe I finished it the first time, but know damn well I will watch it over and over again

Hell, that’s just a start. I’m sure it will make more of my Rushmores the more I watch it.

And I just watched Primal, recently. It was too ridiculous to shut off. Sounds like there's another one to watch.

Cage's "shocking" voice alone made it impossible to turn off.

…..Why why would he do that ……I think about being the other person in the first shot of that movie with nic cage and the first time he uses that voice I’d burst out laughing thinking it was a joke…

Every single time he delivered a line my wife would ask, "how are they keeping a straight face?!"

ETA: at one point, he's doing some weird shaking thing and we were both wondering if his character has parkinson's or is retarded or something.

Nope, just Nic Cage being Nic Cage.

I always wonder what happened to Heather Graham. She seemed like a real rising star in the 90's, then kind of dropped of to B or C movie level.

Did she refuse to go down on Harvey or something?

That's higher than I rated it. But gawd help me, I couldn't stop watching it.

It was like if a train loaded down with hundreds of clown cars each packed with clowns was on a collision course with another train loaded down with a mime convention.

I'm no fan of clowns or mimes, but damn if I wouldn't be glued to the scene to see what happens.

It’s actually entertaining

I’ve watched pretty much all Nic Cages movies and the two that seemed to be really bad where Jujitsu and Primal if I’m thinking about it.

Actually the only one I think I haven’t seen yet is color outer space or something like that.

Nicolas Cage is the "so bad, he's good" actor that everyone seems to love. I haven't made it to the he's good part yet, probably never will. Con Air, The Rock, and Face Off are about the only movies of his I can stand. Oh, and the National Treasure movies are good.

I think The Rock is the exception.

He was really good in that movie. Maybe because he was playing a goofy guy thrust into a serious situation. Which seems like real life Nic Cage acting in a dramatic role.

The man gets a lifetime pass (though not needed) for his portrayal of H.I. McDonough.

He went from trying to sound like the Godfather to trying to sound like an old black jazz musician in the same scene.

And yet, Cage was very good in Charlie Kauffman’s “Adaptation”, and he gave a moving performance in “Leaving Las Vegas”.
