I knew right after that press conference vs. Florida that Brian Kelly might not be the guy that will take us to the promised land. I could just feel it. And boy, did things turn around quickly. Lol.

I was told by his defenders after Kelly’s “spoiled” rant that Saban used to do the exact same thing in similar situations lmfao.

The turtleneck under the polo goes hard. Especially when you know it’s paired with sansabelt slacks.

This is from 2022, three years ago yesterday. A team that went 2-16 SEC --- and 12-34 SEC since.

I know the future of the program is up in the air but I’m so glad BK is gone. That MFer drove me crazy. I can’t believe people actually defended him on here.

I love how that dipshit would preach “the Process” and completely stole Saban’s way of talking but didn’t know the first thing about actually being that guy

so now were going to act like kelly never accomplished anything during his career as a coach. im glad hes gone too but he did a great job in his first season turning around what orgeron left us with.

im going to wait and see who we get to replace him before I start believing were back and were going to be much better off. it could always be worse.

we can always find a way to frick shite up worse than it was apready.

if the governor has it his way were going to be stuck with a Bryan harsin type hiring.

What did he accomplish? He’s been coaching big boy football since 2001. What’s in his trophy case?

To be fair, I think Nick Saban’s talking about a doormat team

That would not be the same as beating Florida by 10 points

Nonetheless, no one compares to the goat

Also, I’m curious how people feel about when Nick Saban would chew out his coaches or his players?

But when Kelly does it, it’s a bad look or terrible coaching. Can someone explain the difference?

People overreact and he had more problems than bad press conferences but holy christ a head football coach really responded with "Look at that one run...you're spoiled." Literally one run. He was fricking desperate even then.

Sure. One coach was respected because he knew what he was talking about. He was hands on every practice and knew every assistant’s responsibility.
The other coach hoped his assistants would do a good job while he blew bubbles out his arse and met with marketing teams to improve his press image.
See the difference?

I had never seen CMM in a press conference before seeing this clip, and never knew much about him. Now I know his wife is Jenny and his bestest friend is Bubba.

Put it this way. If your boss yells at you. But he's been in the office 100 hours that week and you've seen him conduct himself, you know the yelling is because he demands excellence in himself and others. He leads by example first.

Contrast that with a boss yelling at you, a boss who works 30 hours a week, takes long lunches, never talks to anyone who isn't a direct report, and doesn't really give you any direction, but something didn't turn out right so he's pointing the finger at you in front of others.

See the diff?

Same. It was a bad feeling.

We all knew his arse was cooked then. But even further back I knew it when every win where we looked like trash against inferior opponents his go to was “it’s hard to win in the SEC”. Some idiots thought it was coach speak to take up for his team. I knew he meant it.

Yea that press conference was when it all unraveled for Brian Kelly at LSU. Him calling us spoiled was unacceptable and I suspect the administration started getting flooded with emails and calls after that. I know I contributed a couple outreaches myself after that. It’s one thing to sit on my sofa and watch all the games go to shite but it’s another to pay thousands of dollars for season tickets and more thousands in donations and watch the Brian Kelly shite shows in person, then get called spoiled when complaining.

frick that and frick him. I know he’s fired but dammit that video pissed me off all over again!
