So why is Woody being crucified?
He brokered great deals to get the best available coach
No liability on his part or the taxpayers
The donors have money to burn

Cause he was trying to get Jimbo here on another 10/100 contract before BK.

These bloated contracts to dinosaur coaches are recipes for mediocre.

I think because with all the resources available, he made a bad hire.

However, some say it was a great hire. BK had a very good resume’ and anyone would have been fooled.

aTm donors have Bazillions. Fisher's payoff was a drop in the bucket up there. Facts.

For the last time, Taxpayers do not pay for the Football Coach’s Salaries or his buyout. Stop with this nonsense.

But the Louisiana Governor said on Pat McAfee we would be on the hook if it weren't for him!

Directly, you are absolutely correct.

But if sponsors and private donations didn’t pay for the buyouts, they could use their donations for other things.

Again, buyouts are cheaper than bad football

Students via tuition and fees

Well technically it comes out of the unrestricted OP budget, which is a combo of students fees and state/federal funding via taxes

Public Louisiana universities don’t have student fees for athletics.

I’m not talking about fees for athletics, I’m talking about what they pay to attend the school. A portion of that is dedicated to the athletic department. Tuition goes into the same budget as state funding
