Have shite the bed this weekend. Lea, Key, Sumrall.
Hell, even Mullen.
The big Russian lost his last.
Lashlee won. That is all.

Coaches lose games. The coach we will hire will have lost games.

Kenny Dillingham and Jeff Brohm had good days.

Somehow I get the feeling anyone but Kiffin or Saban is going to be a disappointment for the bengal tigah faithful.

It’s a common problem for coaches being looked at. Don’t read too much into the losses.

Dinardo was 5-6 at Vandy and lost his last game there 65-0 before we hired him.

Les Miles record at OkieSt was 28-21 before he accepted the LSU job

Nick Saban record at MichSt was 34-24-1 before he accepted the LSU job.

It doesn't have to be a guy who is going 9-3 or 10-2 every year. They just have to have certain characteristics that the department is looking for in a coach.

Edited for fix LM record

I was just making an observation. We won’t get the big dog. We didn’t get Lincoln Riley. Hindsight is 20/20, but that was our big target. We won’t get Kiffin. He’ll stay. Timing is bad. Hell, just go back to the well and get Freeman. Everyone else seems like a bigger gamble.

My bad I was looking at a bunch of numbers and got them wrong. Point still the same though. It's all about hiring the right fit. Not the one who is the hottest this season.

This is the correct answer. It was the correct answer after Les. The idiots that run things will screw this up as bad as Les/Jimbo/Orgeron/Herman mess

He’s the best coach out of all of them IMO

Typically has one WTF game every year but other than that consistent and solid

The guy obviously needs to win all of his games but shouldn’t really be doing it with good players that he’s “reliant” on

He needs to be doing all of this winning despite not having much talent in a power conference.

Oh we found all that in some unicorn, nah frick that guy he’s a terrible recruiter!

Riley was our big target? Whose? The power brokers at LSU or the blowhards on this site?

I remember this board was losing its mind over Riley to LSU without any evidence that’s who LSU wanted. And look what Riley’s done since at USC…

This board, more often times than not, gets worked into a frenzy over one thing and convinces itself that that one thing is what LSU needs or it’s the end of it all…

And it’s happening again. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

How dumb are you people. You say in one beta statement we can’t get Kiffin then in the very next dumb statement say “just go get freeman”. Freeman is twice the coach and would be twice the hire as Kiffin. Some of you people need to just shut up. You’re showing the world just how dumb you really are.
