Had dinner at a Waffle House a few days ago in small town MS.
Staff was awesome. Black lady that was serving us was singing Superstar by the Carpenters. It was fantastic.
Dinner and a show.

Positive experiences at Waffle House and/or between races should be shared more. It's only the negative stuff that we hear about.

What the fawk are you talking about? A negative Waffle House experience is a positive Waffle House experience.

I took my 83 year old mom to waffle house for a late breakfast a few months ago after visiting my dad in the hospital.
The place was almost empty and the server kind of person apparently was on drugs. He was screwing up every order with the three groups in there. Putting in double orders and then forgetting ours LOL.
Someone took over his responsibilities after that.

Before that my WH visit was at 5:00 AM in St Rose. The one lady taking care of customers was on the phone and talking about her current man previously being the biggest drug dealer up at Southern. Then I listened to her talk about him wanting to screw her even though she was on her period.
Lovely experience.

Went to a waffle house at 3am after the promise keepers event in Cincinnati in 97.

Place was packed, and the teenager manning the griddle was a master at plating food.

I had Waffle House this morning and it was very solid. The place was packed and they were rolling. Two cooks, two washing dishes and checking people out, 4 servers, all were hustling and all were sweet to everyone.
