A lot of people are still overthinking it.

It’s Kiffin.

Is he willing to work on a non-guaranteed discount contract? Asking for a friend:

Kiffin first, Saban is a hail mary, Sumrall back up plan is the way I see it playing out.

Jeff Landry does not have LSU’s best interest at heart with this.

I can almost guarantee you the people actually paying for the contract, the same ones who wanted BK gone, are going to get who they want.

Only ones overthinking are delusional fans acting like kiffin is such a done deal to come here. Ole Miss will match any money offer we make , they most likely will make a deep playoff run you think we’re waiting till January to name our head coach ? Be fricking forreal

Until Graves gives him free chicken tenders for life

Yeah, I think they'd wait if that's who they wanted
I also don't see Ole Miss making it that far in the playoffs. This would be around Christmas if they lost in the first round

Lane doesn't eat chicken tenders. Dude does yoga 5 times a week. He doesn't care about Cajun food either.

Some of you are insufferable, Kelly is fired because of Landry not Woodward. I guess you wanted Kelly to stay I assume

You’d assume wrong.
But Jeff Landry is enough of an embarrassment in his own sphere. He needs to stay the frick out of it and let the people tasked with hiring the next coach do their damn jobs. He’s scaring good candidates off with his bullshite.

It’s not about matching the offer,it’s about LSU tiger stadium .2 times this season I saw LK at his press conferences BEG OM fans to buy tickets and support his team.Remember he worked with NS and I’m sure made his love for LSU known to him,and the reasons why.

Kiffin makes too much sense.
He's doing a great job with less resources 300 miles away.
He knows the area, he knows the players, he knows the program.
He knows Ed O, he knows Austin Thomas, he knows Kelvin Bolden, he knows Frank.
He would be the hire that would best keep the roster and recruiting class intact, IMO.

I think once this political charade dies down next week we’ll get back to senses

An interesting question to me is let's say Kiffin is the hire, Golding gets Ole Miss, and Tulane doesn't hire Blake Baker, does Lane retain him?
