Elbow tendinitis recovery. How long?

Have dealt with it before and it goes away but not fully. It’s not horrible but bad enough to where I want it healed before lifting again.
Now long does it take to heal?
Not taking any injections, just natural regeneration

I have this in my left elbow. My wife is a Nurse Practitioner, she told me to rest it until it feels better. It could take a month or more to fully heal. I can’t make myself take a month off from working out, so I just deal with it.

I’m on month one of Alpha Gripz. I do reps while sitting at my desk. I feel like it is slowly getting better.

Same boat
I’ve had it for over 4 months
Got rehab but not much better
I’ve had to take months off of lifting, tennis and golf

It took about 2 months for mine to get better. Mine was caused by shooting my bow too much. I was pulling 80 lbs, got a new bow and now draw 65. Haven't had bad problems with it since.

Man, is this contagious - I have left elbow tendinitis - about 3 months now.
I mean, I had it in my right thumb for about a day. The left elbow? Months.
I haven't been particular about rehabbing it.
I'm thinking about maybe applying some heat now?

Don't underestimate NSAIDs and ice.
I've dealt with in the past, once for over a year. Finally, I started icing multiple times a day and taking NSAIDs, it went away in a couple of weeks.

Rest is certainly needed immediately after the injury but this one can hang around long afterward due to inflammation
turmeric - a powerful natural anti-inflammatory - did amazing things for my elbow tendonitis and my knees. 2,000 mg / day and took a couple weeks to see improvement. Just to prove it to myself, I stopped taking it and the pain came back; resumed taking it, pain went away. I'm sold.
this is what I used but other brands may be same as long as they have black pepper extract included. nice thing is if you do get it at Costco, you can return the empty bottle for refund if you don't see any improvement

Been suffering with Golfer's Elbow for months now.
It'll go away for a week or so then come back with a vengeance.

The elbow strap is a must have when battling tendonitis. You also have to back off the intensity and work your grip and forearms. It is a slow process and you must be patient. As soon as you start feeling the inflamation, you have take action.

Geez, this must be an epidemic for non youngsters lifting. everybody I know that's lifting is dealing with it, including me.

If you lift for a while you are going to deal with it. At some point. Had to eventually have surgery on my left elbow about 3 years ago. Had several other bouts with it that i was able to rehab on my own including this year with my right arm.

Months. All depends on your specifics. Use heat. As much as you can stand. Tendons have poor blood flow, ice restricts it further.

I’ll try this again. I don’t think I committed to the correct procedure last time.

try the flexbar. I had golfers elbow that wouldn't go away, tried this and was better in a couple of weeks
That’s because the issue is from the wrist through the forearm.
All of you need to do major work on your grip strength and also start using strong wrist wraps and make sure your wrists are straight for pull ups and lifts. We get older and the body won’t recover so well from little things we do wrong like when we were younger.
Also wearing a wrist brace at night for awhile will help recovery a lot.
