I have a few coworkers who want Toronto to win. And I told them as much. I don’t care for the Dodgers, but I do like Ohtani and I will always root for the American team over a Canadian.

I'll let Dante know he can't root for his son.

How many players on Toronto are American?
How many players on L.A. are not American?

The Toronto Blue Jays include a large number of U.S.-born / U.S. citizens; one source noted 21 Americans and only 1 Canadian on a recent roster.
The Los Angeles Dodgers had 10 internationally born players on their 2025 Opening Day roster. MLB.com

and Freddie Freeman is a Canadian

The Toronto Blue Jays have more U.S. citizens than the Los Angeles Dodgers.

so I ask you why are you so anti-American?

Then the rest of the American teams outside the regular 4 who are always at the top need to step up and give us American teams to pull for.

We are tired of seeing the Dodgers, Yankees, etc.

How many Toronto players are Canadian? Vlad Jr. is technically a Canadian citizen because he was born there when his dad was an Expo. That’s it though

Places like LA and New York are American in name only at this point. Half the people living in those places weren't even born int his country, not to mention the players.

The logo on the jersey has nothing to do with the city, state, or country anymore. They are as special as McDonald's franchises.

Cool man.

I guess I’m unpatriotic because I don’t want the Dodgers to win.

90% of the players and coaches on both teams are conservative or right leaning.

It’s not their fault that most of the citizens in the cities they play for are Woke, dumb, and anti-America.

That's understandable. I'm pulling for Scherzur to get one too.

Allied troops who had the misfortune to be taken prisoner by the Japanese during World War II quickly learned that the Geneva Convention might as well not exist. Indeed, they endured years of not only malnutrition and starvation, disease and general neglect -- resisting all the while -- but also torture, slave labor and other war crimes.

Many POWs were murdered outright by their captors. In fact, only a little more than half of them ever saw home again. Here are some of their experiences, their stories of strength and resilience, based on interviews with and oral histories from veterans and the daughter of a POW.

frick the Dodgers.

I say that as a Braves fan and also someone who will root for the team with half the payroll. The Dodgers have become what the Yankees used to be.
