How likely is James Franklin coaching at one of the following schools next year?

North Carolina - that is if Bill is gone
Va Tech - I think he would be a good fit there
Auburn - If they get rid of Freeze
Mich State - if they part ways with Smith
Florida - would they want him there?
Anywhere else or not coaching at all?

UNC is probably a better job than Va Tech and would be a good spot for Franklin.

Franklin is dull but Auburn needs some stability there, it’s been a revolving door there

I don't know how I'd feel. An SEC team going 10-2 should almost always make the expanded playoff.
At the same time though there would be a lot more of those "Franklin always loses equal or superior talent" games in the SEC than the Big 10.

Franklin is not bringing his 1-18 record against ranked teams to Auburn where he has to play 6-7 ranked teams a year

Franklin and Penn State have hammered Virginia and tidewater region in recruiting for year and basically starved VA Tech of their talent lifeblood.
He knows that area extremely well and would do well there. Probably win 7-9 games per year there. I think the Hokies would love that now.
