It looks like they are now putting in some catch basins/drainage pipes at the Bluebonnet Harveston Devlopment. Does anyone know if this is the beginning of the new Harveston town center? It would be great for the area if so

traffic is going to be a nightmare there

HARVESTON is approximately 2000 acres. On May 23-2025 there was a sale of 43.7 acre parcel located on the East side of Bluebonnet as near Nicholson sold to a group out of Covington.

The speed limit being 35 down bluebonnet that way is a goddamn disgrace

This whole development has moved embarrassingly slow and not liking that the developer who just purchased that large tract has ties to DSLD. I fully expect The Highline development at Airline and Antioch to be completed earlier at this rate.

DSLD homes based on the Business Report article. Plus they bought the land for $10. I would assume it will be more houses like that development to the south which are not nicer Harveston style garden homes,

The HighLine is a much smaller piece of land, by half, and is already almost done with sitework. So I agree it should finish way before.

It will not be ready in time

Yall are gonna throw a fit when that pedestrian light is functional and stops traffic anytime a pedestrian wants to cross

That’s my go to.

You mean everywhere. Nicholson, the 2 lane road is going to be no match for the influx of cars. Bluebonnet from Burbank to I-10 is already choked out most of the day. Its a suicide mission at peak rush hour. This will make it worse.

Yuck. That's all the area needs.

I don’t know what’s going on, but several real estate agents I know have moved out recently. In my experience, that is a red flag.

I heard that Wampold sold a parcel of land for residential development. I’m sure interest rates are holding back construction.
There will be a roundabout on Bluebonnet at the entrance to The Preserve. That road will connect Bluebonnet to University Club.
