From the SEC teleconference:

Gooden practiced yesterday. He didn’t get involved in everything, but they wanted to bring him in slowly. He got some individual and team reps. The report this morning was that he felt good.

Whit is still non weight bearing and is in the boot. Will keep the boot on for another couple of days before they know what he can do. He’s been doing some additional treatments. Feeling better, but won’t know his status until later in the week.

….. Didn’t see TigerDroppings had an article about this posted at the bottom. Just got done listening to the teleconference.

This is the part of the season where Whit is questionable every week and sits out without officially "opting out," and honestly, who could blame him?

Not sure if that is true but it sounds like he won’t play vs aTm

Well, without Weeks and Gooden we don't have much of a chance. Aggie can run good and we need Weeks to help contain Reed. Oh well. Whatever.

I think weeks could deal with the pain if it wasn't weight-bearing pain that will affect his burst.
But it's limiting quick directional changes, acceleration, and cutting etc
Plus tackling requires absorbing and delivering force. His efficiency would definitely be hindered there also. He would also probably be mentally hesitant.
We really need him Saturday. Hoping he's healed enough to be ready, but I wouldn't put money on it

Do you really think Whit is opting out when his brother is on the field battling? The reason all 3 Weeks brothers are here this year is for the opportunity to play together one last year. Whit isn’t making a business decision.

He is absolutely a sure fire NFL prospect WTF

Not saying he's a 1st rounder, but he's 6'2" 225-230 and athletic and has great tape. He'll get drafted, be on an NFL roster and likely contribute in the league.

They guy has a bone bruise. That shite can hurt for months. It is very different from a sprain. You can play through a sprain and just deal with the soreness.
