Hegseth is probably the least qualified.
Which is why he’s not discussing anything of real importance to the DOD
like strategies to counter the Chinese naval buildup. Rather he’s talking about meaningless DEI issues and overweight troops and facial hair. Performance politics crap…

I dont know if I'd call Blondi disappointing. Her affection to be on camera instead of doing her job was entirely predictable.

In my conversations with military members of all political stripes, he’s not a cerebral leader, but he is correct in calling out many problems in the military.
Fighting men like him. Politically minded military brass hate him.
