When can we expect judicial intervention

DEI strikes again. Their viewership must be so awful, trying put out show after show about how black women or gay Iranians are actually the backbone of US society, influence and tech

Remind me what DEI garbage Paramount is pushing. The only shows I’m familiar with are non woke efforts by Taylor Sheridan.
Serious question.

One of the oldest studios and their most successful franchise is Star Trek.
Seems like they haven’t made anything newish, besides the Yellowstone stuff, that’s had any lasting popularity.

Don't forget the one where the lesbian Iranian was a badass spy who helped the CIA take out terrorists

Paramount is billions of dollars in debt.
Like other ‘ entertainment’ companies they allowed wokest dei policies ruin their most valuable titles like Star Trek.
Very few people enjoy watching gay characters kissing on each other while attempting to save the galaxy from the communist Borgs.
The newest iteration of Star Trek sports a female chief engineer, a female navigator,a female helmsman, a female chief of security, a female communications officer, a female first officer. I love women but there needs to be some sort of balance . And the stories are just lame.

Landman is epically good. Although he's not actually a landman. It's the Yellowatone guy but not related.

Paramont's parent company also owns CBS. They are all woke
Did you watch Picard? Longtime Star Trek fans hated it.
Here is a summary of the bullshite they put into it
quote:
Diverse, older cast with queer storylines and social commentary on xenophobia; seen as a "woke" evolution of Star Trek.
Canceled after 3 seasons; episodes like those featuring Stacey Abrams as "President of United Earth" fueled "anti-white propaganda" claims.
Or how about Star Trek: Discovery
quote:
Heavy focus on queer characters (e.g., a prominent same-sex relationship), diverse leads (including a Black female captain), and explicit progressive themes like anti-fascism and humanism. Critics call it "lecturing" on DEI.
Canceled after 5 seasons; some fans praised its inclusivity, but it drew "go woke, go broke" backlash for low ratings.
Paramount is so woke that they even tried to interweave woke BS into their most popular franchise

Landman was a big, second season coming.
Also, it’s not pushing progressive talking points.

Taylor Sheridan’s shows are all great. Unfortunately a handful of shows cannot save an organization that’s been mismanaged for decades. The shift from ideological pet projects to shows that people want to watch is the only answer for the entertainment industry.

You are telling me that making Stacey Abrams President of earth in your most popular asset/series ever doesn't resonate with your predominantly white audience?

They also owned CBS and a lot of other entities.
This is due to the purchase of them by Skydance. Im certain there are lots of redundancies of jobs in merging the two.
Ellison (of Oracle) son owns Skydance. He put Weiss in charge of CBS news, lots of threads here on it. The irony, she is not even conservative, she is "left leaning". But CBS, particularly 60 minutes, has gone so far off the cliff to the left that they view her as some radical conservative.

I think it missed the mark…
People watch tv and sports to get an escape from politics and the stresses of life. It’s almost like these fricks can’t comprehend that.

Didn’t Paramount just land the huge UFC deal?

Demi Moore's under-utilization in S1 was such a huge spoiler in and of itself. She wouldn't have taken such a minor role without knowing there was a big payoff coming.

I'm sure the ratings in Baltimore and Atlanta must have been through the roof since black people love Star Trek so much

Watch Taylor Sheridan's "Lioness" and get back to me.
I love his shows, but to say they are "non-woke" is incorrect.
Less woke, maybe? He's very subtle about it, but he works it in.
